YOGA & JOURNALING  on the south coast of Sweden

  • Flaskpostvägen Beddingestrand, Skåne län, 231 76 Sweden (map)

Organised and led by Liz Nilsson & Ingrid Banheden-Breisner

"Yoga releases the creative potential Of Life" (B.K.S Iyengar)

This weekend by the Baltic Sea is an excellent way nourish both body and mind, and to start the autumn with a creative spirit. We will rest in yoga and meditation sessions where we concentrate on mindful presence. We will walk along the sea and explore our creative side through writing and visual research using simple and mediative artistic expressions such a s doodling and block-printing. Each person will be given a sketchbook on arrival to use as their journal for the weekend. An art journal is an essential tool for artists where word and image are combined as a way to explore new ideas without being judge by the result. You will come away energised and filled with new ideas. No one needs to be an artist or writer to take part, only a willingness to explore and to be inspired.

We believe that yoga helps us to connect to the creative aspect with in our selfes, and sometimes we need to be reminded how to do this.

We serve lovely home cooked vegetarian food. The accommodation is situated in Ingrid’s and Liz’s summer houses in the village of Beddingestrand. Beddingestrand is a small seaside village by the sea (The Baltic Sea - South coast of Sweden. )

You fly to Copenhagen and transfer via train ( 1hour) over the bridge to Sweden and Beddinge.

PRICE: €330 - ( or 3500 Skr ) including accommodation, workshops and food. (Full board). Flights and transfer not included. If you are Swedish and live near by you can choose to not stay with us, but still take part in the full retreat programme. Price 2900 kr.

This retreat can be combined with you spending a few days in Malmö or Copenhagen - both lovely cities.
