MARK MAKING MEDITATION

During this afternoon workshop we will explore the link between the repetion in breathing with simple mark making on paper. It is a visual meditation of abstract lines and shapes. (drawing and simple block printing). There is no pressure to draw in a normal sense but instead the participants will be encouraged to enjoy the process of what the hand and mind can create in combination with the breath. This process often creates surprising and impressive results. When we practice awareness in yoga, breathing, and meditation, we learn to see—and let go of—the distractions of the mind. It is from this place of clear seeing that we will work. Each participants will get a journal that he / she will use during the workshop f as well as using for personal mark making after wards.

We will start with Meditation and a series of simple Yoga postures which will lead on to the mark making part.  Healty Afternoon Tea is included and will be served during a brief break.

This workshop is for all levels.
